Ok, so a bit late... But better late than never? This year M34tb4LL and i celebrated our 15 year anniversary! w00t!!!

Thinking that 15 years is sizable mile stone, well 15 years with ME, i wanted to get a mile-like gifty. That is where my brain left the party and I to my own devises. Not good! and by the time i got my butt into gear it was to late to clear his thinkgeek wishlist and be sure that the goods would arrive on time.

So plan B, didn't have one.

Plan C - SPIN

Well that was pointless - but fun

Plan D, what is the gifty thing for 15 years? Crystal, for a male, meh.

Plan E, take the day off work the day before and go into major shopping mode, hoping inspiration would hit.

First place of call - dodgy gifty place at Knox that has never let me down in the past. If you ask me what it is called? ummm... gifts of excellence? something like that? The place that never seems to have anyne in there shopping, and when you walk in the personidge behind the counter is falling over themselves to help you! One crystal turtle (turtles are kewl) later i had part one of a gifty.

Then went to jewellery place, i think it is called blue spirit, to buy random neck adornment for myself. I wanted the box! they pack all their stuff in these funky shiny blue little piramid boxes. It was in the box i put the turtle.

The plot thickens - and the gift continues!

I then went to every jewellery shop in Knox (except for one, tee hee) to find a ring for him. However, because he sends the best part of his working day building or fixing computers can not wear rings. Strange thing to go looking for? Well, yes. But also, no! He has a ring that i bought him for our 2 (?) year anniversary that he wears around his neck on a piece of leather.

Found a really nice white and yellow gold twisty ring, that will do very nicely! next stop is lincraft to get a leather thing that i can tie the ring to. Done.

Then i went home, shopping is hard work!

Pizza for lunch, mmmm pizza, and while that was cooking i went for a wonder up the street. New shop at Studfield shopping centre, chocolate place (name escapes me) and in my time killing browsing i found a silver teddy bear sitting on a gold box, wrapped in cellophane. at his feet were little heart shaped choclates and he was holding a balloon that had "happy anniversary" printed on it. PERFECT!!!

Gifty complete! Opended the cellophane and placed blue piramid containing crystal turle ontop of the chocolate hearts, and the ring on the piece of leather around the bears neck, wrapped it back up - done!

So, 26/1/06 (anniversary day) gave pressie to M34tb4LL and he was muchly impressed.

Did he give me gift i hear you ask? Why yes, yes he did.

A new LCD monitor!!! yoiu know? liquid CRYSTAL display? 15 years = crystal? I love how that mans brain works! But he took it step further, you see crytal is the traditonal gifty for 15 years, modern is a watch. And i can watch a monitor!

So even though my anniversarey post is a month late (nearly) -
